If I could do one impossible thing, I would: Sit before every
blind person, individually, and for a special period in time,
allow them sight to see a chick breaking from its shell, baby
turtles running to the shore, the tip of a monarch butterfly's
curling intenna, a dog sleeping on his back dreaming he is
running, an inch worm crawling up a stick, the pink smile of
a bunny rabbit, the first stand of a geraff, a fish escaping a
fisherman's cooler and diving back out to sea, an ape at a
zoo protecting a fallen child, a newborn's first eye opening,
and, finally, perfect world peace--something I've yet to see,
too.
